PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION OF THE COMMANDER SOFTWARE:

ALL VIRUS CHECKERS MUST BE OFF OR IT WILL NOT INSTALL PROPERLY

download and then double click and extract it to a folder on your desktop.

Download and run the following drivers for your OS:

Windows 7/Vista/XP 32 and 64 bit

Windows 8.1

Plug the commander lead in and something like this will appear:

 

Click the bubble (bottom right)

This window will open

After a while the drivers will install and a com port will be allocated:

Copy the files from the install disk onto your computer and start the commander program from the icon inside the folder "VAG-K_CAN_Commander_1[X].4"

RIGHT CLICK AND RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

YOU MAY GET AN ERROR MESSAGE ABOUT THE LOG FILE JUST CLICK OK

Main program should now start, make sure the comport number is the same as the one it installed under (above):

That's it, if the com port is not correct you'll need to reassign it in device manager
